It was a hot summer day in 2007 when Consultronix approached Oertli and stated interest in selling our products. Soon after a first delegation of Oertli Instruments AG traveled to Krakow to make a first contact and to learn more about this prospective partner in Poland. Back in the days, Consultronix counted around 40 employees of which around half were working in a sales function and being on the frontline daily and average age was way below 30 years. The Oertli delegation found that Consultronix already had their own website and a well-functioning CRM tool along with a TQM and CE certification. Also, there was a “Consultronix Company Newsletter” with quarterly publication that found it’s way to 4’500 ophthalmologists and counted 17’000 copies. These days are long gone. Today Consultronix counts more than 120 employees and is active in the fields of ophthalomology, microsurgery, radiotherapy, diagnostic imaging, phlebology, urology and dermatology. That said, one should not miss that Consultronix S.A. won the Polish business award “Gazela Biznesu” every year from 2005 – 2008 and also in 2010. In addition to that they received the “Forbes Diamonds” in 2007 and is one of the fastest growing companies in Poland. Today, after more than 13 years of close cooperation, Consultronix S.A. still is that diamond. Not in the rough anymore but well polished and glistening in all facettes! Oertli Instruments can be nothing but proud to have such a partner for the Polish market. After all these years both companies have a very strong bond towards each other and business is conducted the way it is most beneficial for everybody involved: professional, reliable and trustworthy. Today we celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the CX News. We would like to take this occasion to thank Mr. Smolarski and all his team for the excellent work and very close partnership and we are looking forward to the next 20 years together.
